·         Mormons and J.W's are more committed to leading people into error than Christians are to winning souls to the truth.

·         Democrats and Republicans are more committed to their agenda that Christians are to God's agenda!

·         The homosexual crowd and the abortion crowd are more committed to their cause than Christians are to the cause of Christ.

·         Hollywood is more committed to getting people in the movie house than Christians are to getting people into God's house!

·         People spend more money on liquor and tobacco than Christians do in sending out missionaries.

Look with me into our scripture for today as we remind ourselves of the Father's work for us in this world.

II.         THERE IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY (V35b; 39-41)

III.       THERE IS A GREAT OBSTACLE (V.37)

A.        Pursuing Our Own Needs

The disciples were shopping while the Savior was soul-winning.

B.         Procrastinating Our Own Duties

The disciples wanted to wait for four months.

IV.       THERE IS A GREAT OBLIGATION (V.38)

A.        To Have A Vision Of The Possibilities

B.         To Voice Our Petition - "Send Laborers"

C.         To Volunteer To Participate

Conclusion:     Where does God get his laborers? From volunteers!
