FULFILLING CHRISTIAN POTENTIAL
Romans 1:14-16

Introduction:     Perhaps one of the greatest tragedies of this life is to not live up to your potential. Certainly, just as sad is when we do not fulfill our Christian potential. Within the three “I am’s” of the Apostle located in our text today there is much to learn and apply.

I.          A SENSE OF OBLIGATION (V.14)

“I am a debtor”

            A.        Because Of Gratitude 

            B.         Because Of Stewardship

II.         A SENSE OF PARTICIPATION (V.15)

“I am ready”

            A.        With Passion

            B.         With Patience

III.       A SENSE OF APPRECIATION (V.16)

“I am not ashamed”

            A.        Because Of Its Power

            B.         Because Of Its Potential

Conclusion:       If you are willing to surrender totally to Jesus today and wait patiently upon Him, He will accomplish through you His plan and purpose for your life. That’s fulfilling your Christian potential!
